Hi there! I’m Kim, a 30-something wife, and mom to three amazing little kids – two spunky boys (ages 7 and 5) and a sweet little girl (10 months).
By day, I work a pretty standard corporate-type job and, like most working moms, I try my best to balance it with my family responsibilities. Life can get pretty crazy, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
I started this blog because I’ve always LOVED writing and, since my current job doesn’t really lend itself to that, I figured I would create my own outlet. I’d entertained the idea of starting a blog off and on for several years, but always talked myself out of actually DOING it. So I finally decided to take the leap – no more excuses!
I have a ton of diverse interests. I enjoy cooking, baking, shopping, decorating, creating, crafting, reading, writing, exercising, organizing, saving money and, of course, spending as much time as possible with my family! You’ll probably see at least a few posts in each of those areas at one point or another.
The name for this blog came to me one morning while driving to work (when your commute is 35 miles each way, you have a lot of time to think!). I had this random thought about how there are days when I really feel like I’m just killing it – everything is working out beautifully at home AND at work, the house is clean and tidy, and the kids are all on their best behavior. And how other days, I feel like I’m in the middle of a dysfunctional three-ring circus. You know, just keeping it together! The rest, as they say, is history.
Thanks for stopping by – I’m so glad you did!
